    This one is essentially straight out of the camera--post processing consisted of a minor exposure adjustment and some sharpening; nothing else.

    All critiques welcome and appreciated! Thanks for taking the time to look.

    EOS 7D
    180 mm macro lens
    36mm extension tube
    tripod
    1/5 sec at f/3.5

    Thank you all for your comments and your time. I prefer to OP as well, and it is more typical of the style of my abstracts.

    The RGB histogram is a wonderful tool!
