    I love the sunset and background, but find the heron could use some CS5 refine edges work to make it blend in a bit more...my opinion only. Keep them coming..TFS

    Mitch....I have to agree that the heron does look too cut out...Wonderful idea!

    Hi Mitch, I like the concept and the composition; the elements work well together. The bird does look a bit forced, but you could easily fix that by feathering the edge and possibly matching the colors of the bg a bit closer. You always make good use of the filter formula.

    Hi Mitch, good tips already offered for this one. I would prefer to see the heron's eye revealed in its natural state...I think it would increase the image's impact.

    Hi, Mitch, you've gotten some helpful tips already. I think I would like it better if the heron didn't merge with the trees - there's a lovely "s" curve there and you could mirror that with the trees if you're so inclined.
