    Hi Norm,

There is a strong yellow cast in this image. Did you try a warming filter in CS3? There is very little details in the Hawk but as I told you in the original post, you did well capturing this Hawk in flight.

I also would like to remind you that you can post at 800 pixels.

Take care and hope to see you soon!

Great timing to capture this Norman and I like the composition. Would like to see a little more detail in the hawkmbut still a very pleasing image.

    Default adjustments in CS3

I Norman. Nice, tight, sharp shot! I adjusted your image in CS3 by adding a little contrast with a curves layer, adjusted Shadow and Highlight with shadow and midtone adjustments, added a blue photo filter layer at about 20% (to reduce the yellow). I selectively sharpened the bird only with Nik Sharpener Pro. I also lightened the eye area with a brightness and contrast layer. Finally, I ran the image through Noise Ninja using a mask over the bird so as to reduce the BG noise. Of course, I don't really know what the results will look like posted other than a preview, so here it is! I am relatively new to CS3, so this is a great learning experience for me. I hope that it helps you.
