    Also known as the Little Brown Dove. Shot this through a very small opening in a bush.
    Made this handheld with a Canon 450D + Sigma 150-500.
    F 6.3 / ISO 400 / SS 1/640 @ 500 mm. Manual / Eval
    Levels / Crop / USM / NR on BG.

    I like the dreamy effect here with the soft FG slightly overlapping the perch and subject (just enough for me). I love the BG, especially most of the left part (I'd remove the grey band in lower left corner with a 30-40% clone stamp). Nice comp, beautiful perch, OK pose.

    Very nice detail you got in the visible part of the dove. Wish the vegetation wasn't partially blocking the tail, but still nice and it does give a somewhat dreamy effect to it. I agree about the beige patch in the left corner. Should be an easy fix if you choose to do it. Pretty dove!

    A very pretty bird, and I echo Daniel's sentiment about the dreamy feel. I like the idea of removing the gray band on the left.
