    Lovely shot Allen, very clean and almost perfect focus, the tail is just a fraction out. Have you tried using a faster ISO with fill in flash at higher shutter speeds? The batteries don't last so long but the faster shutter speed and good DOF along with a ETTR (expose to the right), would mean there would still be very little noise - just a thought. On my flash gun (old 550) you press the + and - simultaneously to get high speed sync.

    Very clean image, Allan. The way it's perched reminds me of a gawky teenager. But why do they call it "spinyleg"?
