    I take a lot of these, I liked this one a lot.

    Dan, nice low angle, smooth BG and detail. Love the blue contrasting color with the rest of the feathers.

    Nice pose and HA on this pretty hen Dan. Love the color showing on the scaupularies and coverts. Nice exposure control and smooth BG. Feather detail looks good but looks like it could use another round of NR. Well done

    nice low angle and light. good exposure, a tad hot around the eye. looks soft to me as posted, I think you forgot to sharpen it.

    Repost is lovely. When I saw the OP I wasn't sure if it needed sharpening or my eyes were still sleepy. I am glad it was you and not my eyes!!
    Terrific low POV and great light.
    Do you have a sliver more room on the left? Not a big deal but I would like a bit m ore breathing space.

    The repost is awesome, a ton of sharp detail, perfect eye contact and the low angle and of course the great BG. I love the color of this water.

    Great point of view. I like the repost with the extra sharpening. I like the detail on the bird and the softness of the water.
