    Default Oyster Catcher

Another one from my collection of Oyster Catchers. Shot was taken at Ft. Desoto Park. These birds are very skittish so a stealth approach was the only way to get close. I knew the bg was going to be tri-colored but I like the angle of the bird.

Pretty light mike and I like the wing position and the nice look at the eye. I only wish the bird was flying more toward us.

Hi Mike, the details on the bird are stellar. Agree with Cheryl - wish the bird was not flying away from us but still a fine capture.

Lovely light, colors and exposure. Details are very nice and love the water splash. It's fun seeing the full wing. The white blob in the right BG bothers me a little more than the oystercatcher angled away from you and is an easy fix.

This is a keeper...this is the best shot from the series from what I have seen.
