    Shot a few frames as this Steppe Eagle took off near Bikaner, Rajasthan.
    Nikon D3200 with Sigma 50-500 Ex (non-OS) Lens at 420mm, Beanbag.
    1/1000 @ f11.

    I like the pose, intense stare, framing of image,

    The IQ looks a bit soft. I try for faster shutter speeds for birds in flight when conditions allow. Generally 1/2000s or so will handle most birds well.

    Pose and light are nice and I like the dangling feet. I too feel the IQ looks a little soft.

    Very good action shot and captured well. Nice wingtip spread and feet down are a plus. Not much fine detail under the wing and the overall IQ soft (as others have mentioned). I would still be happy to have this shot, though.

    Nice bird and pose. Agree it looks a tad soft. You might try a little more sharpening.
