    Default Eastern Cottontail

Slowly crawled my way closer only to have it chased off by another rabbit.
The rabbit was in between me and the setting sun.

Hi Tim, I love this, it's so simple and very effective, plus it's so nice to see a subject we take for granted, IMHO shot like this it can be as arresting/rewarding as an exotic species.

Well composed, good techs, although was this using a tripod or HH (?) at such a slow SS IMHO I feel you are pushing it a little if HH. I like the rich greens, perhaps a tad too green, but pretty cool as it sets off the subject well. The light in the top LHC gives a nice feel to the scene/time of day as it lights up the ear, wonder if that could go a fraction darker, but just a fraction? Just a thought, but have you considered flipping it, might sit better? Overall a lovely image that ticks my boxes, look forward hopefully to more.

Hi Tim - simple but nice. What makes it really work is the low pov. Nice detail too.

This is a wonderful image with the light coming in from the upper corner and the low POV! I like the blurred foreground as well as the bkgd. It adds a softness that works well with the rabbit. Steve as very good suggestions.

    Very nice , Tim.
You made the most of a subject not many would bother with.
The backlighting on the Ears is the best part....
It seem a bit too green, maybe lower the saturation a bit?

Tim, this is a lovely capture with a verdant early summer feel to it. I also like the lighting and the backlighting that comes through the ears. Excellent DOF control as well.

This is one of the best rabbit images I have ever seen, perfect dof here. This is an excellent exposure with this light. Well done.

It's such a simple shot and so nicely executed that it's hard to say anything more than well done, without suggesting silly things like trimming the grass. I'd like to see it toned down a little too, just to see if the bunny pops out even better, but it's great for me as it is.

Hello Tim, I absolutely love this image, just wondering-where is the tail? Just joking, stunner shot, love the pose and especially the positioning of the ears, what a beauty!!!

    Kind regards,

Tim, this proves that you don't need an exotic subject or even blistering action to make a good photo.
Basic principles - good light, good composition, good perspective, good exposure. Well done.
