nice pose and the fish adds to the capture. I like the wing position. Head looks a bit soft to me

    Karl:

Nice dorsal view, fish a plus, IQ effected by the large crop. Thanks for the breeze browser screen capture, it helps understand the image.

    Cheers

Excellent capture with fish, well exposed. Yes, the large crop affected the IQ. Loi

Great shot Karl. Love the topside view with the fish. Nice feather detail considering the crop. Well done

Hi Karl, great banking pose, and overall well exposed. His catch a bonus. I do like the layered BG too.

    Hi Karl,

the image you presented just shows the active AF sensor at the time of capture, however it does not necessarily mean the actual focus plane would be where the red frame is. Focus can be anywhere...

I agree the main issue here is the Huge crop (less than 10% of the frame). even if focus was tack sharp the IQ would suffer.

Really nice banking pose and the fish really adds a lot to the image. Well exposed and good composition. Hope you get one like this a bit closer next time!

Lovely flight pose, BG and 3-tier BG. Agree head doesn't look sharp but image looks pretty good considering the crop. Arash's point about focus point above is interesting/informative.

Excellent flight pose with beautiful wing position and great details in whites. Beautiful background on which bird pops up nicely.
Slight crop on the RHS will not harm the beauty of image.

    Regards,
    Satish.
