Nice sharp image with pleasing wave bg. It would have been more ideal if you could have obtained a pose with the bills of the 2 Willets parallel. Whites on the underside of the secondaries on the near bird are a bit hot.
Dof and detail on the birds are great and I also like the wave pattern. I feel this image could have been stronger with Richards suggestion as well as a lower shooting angle.
Good job getting both in the frame and it's fun to see one with wings up!!! Light is nice and I like the blue BG. I think a lower angle, if possible, would have given you an even better image.
Thanks all for the critiques. My biggest issue at EB Forsythe NWR is the fact that the road is elevated so most images of the water birds are looking down at them.
