Hello from Saskatchewan!

Howdy,

My names Leigh, there looks to be a lot of great photographers around here and I'm hoping I can learn a thing or two. I'm just starting to get in to bird photography and only have the 70-200mm 4L to work with at the moment but am in the process of looking for a 400mm 5.6L but here are a couple of shots I was lucky enough to get in nice and close.

Hello Leigh and welcome to BPN! Being new to photography I think you will find this a great place to learn as there are definitely many great photographers here. You may want to start by posting in Eager to learn and go from there if it feels comfortable to you. Sounds like a cool place to live and you have a great array of birds by the looks of your photos. My favorite is the eared grebes. I would LOVE a shot at them. Looking forward to your participation.

Hello Leigh, lot can be learned here...certainly been the case for me.....I go up around the Battlesfords every year...lots of great colors, scenery and waterfowl for sure
