This was taken one morning by my garden pond just after I had taken Barney for his walk. The dragonfly had recently emerged from the exuvia, I had forgotten to check the pond first thing otherwise I could have had another series!
    All C&C welcome.

Awesome detail and awesome moment of capture! The fabulous details on the wings add an additional interesting layer of design to the image. One small change could be to tone down/break up the brownish stem on the left as it has a continuous diagonal component that catches the eye.

The wings are gorgeous. Too bad you missed out on another series. Did you consider cropping about half the free space from left side to move subject a little more away from center? BG okay but a little busy/not your best.

Stunning details on that dragon! Some patterns in the BG but my eyes stay locked on the subject given the terrific clarity.
