I captured this image is SoCal with Doug and Jim. In this behavior, terns dive for a fish, when they miss and emerge from the water again they shake themselves. It is very quick and takes many tries to get it! this is one of the frames that I liked. Hope you like it too

Killer behavior and love the whites against that dark blue BG. Your whites are so white and have so many details, esp that splayed tail!

Great timing. Tried this many times myself so I know how many frames it takes to get one good one. You have done that here.

    Arash,
Very nice capture. Perfectly exposed with lovely details & tail shape. Also like the blue BG & water splashes.

Good one, Arash. The fanned tail makes this one for me. Like Joe, I've tried many times with other tern species, and know how tough it is to capture this moment. Terrific detail as always.

Perfect whites, detail, and timing! I've seen them do this, captured it once, but would never show it here.
