    Canon &D Canon 180mm macro, bean bag in a plastic bag, ISO 400 1/500 sec f9
    I had almost given up but after 3 hours my patience paid off. The male keeps hold of the female so she cannot mate with another male, this means he gets to supervise the laying of the eggs that are his progeny. I could have wished for a less busy pond surface and a more complete reflection - maybe another day.

    nice capture of the damselflies,as you have said,the ponds a bit busy.

    Agree with your self-assesment, but a fine image as is. You captured very interesting behavior with excellent detail. Congrats.
