While the 2x tc is not my favorite with the 70-200, it is practical and makes a
light walk around zoom telephoto with the D800.

    Dan:

Great extension, rich colors,bg, like the glimpse of eye.

The upper right background is very nice to my eye. I might consider very slightly softening the darker strikes on the left side. Their contrast draws the eye.

    Cheers

What beautiful colors! Lovely view from the back and great details in the feathers. I've been on the fence about buying a D800, and your image is pushing me in that direction!

Magnificent image. Very nice wing position showing beautiful colors and great details. Love the feathers of head with green and whit color.
    Very nice composition too.

Fun point of view. I like the symmetry in the wings and the green BG. I am not sold on the hint of an eye. Would love a comparison without it.

Great details in this one also.
Did you adjust the lens with this TC?
