Taken at Amboseli National Park, Kenya when a herd of elephant began to march towards our car and eventually passed right in front of the vehicle.

Beautiful image Loi! Wasn't the 500+1.4X too long?

Hi Loi - I really like the comp here and the dof. Nice detail too. The elephants seem a little light so I might just selectively give them a boost either in curves or by adding a couple of points to black and neutrals in selective color.

Very nice composition, details, DOF, very soft light - almost a hi key look. A beautiful frame.

Thank you all for your feedback. Brightness is quite difficult for me to judge even though I've calibrated my monitor. The image posted here on the BPN site looks a bit brighter than the same image i have in JPG. I added a little more contrast using Curves and cloned out a small dark spot on the LHS. Let's see how it compares with the OP. Loi

Nice image, the repost is a brighter and I prefer the OP.
The Elephants would look better a bit darker and I think that is what Rachel suggested.

Excellent detail and comp. I think I can see more detail in the ivory in the OP.

Thank you everyone for your comments. Here is a repost with the elephants darkened by using Curves. Thank you Rachel for suggestion. Hope you like it better.
