Love how these birds can just perch on one leg for such long periods.
Did a horizontal flip on this as I felt it was more natural to have the subject looking left to right. Slight crop as well.

Hi Joe, nothing wrong with your rotation, that leg is dead vertical.Great DOF, with the feather detail showing up very well. Love the orange eye, and all against that smooth BG.
great plain BG to set up the sharp bird
love the details and the HA is nice to me, superb one
This is a stunner Joe, and the green BG is sensational, if I may say so! Love the detail on the subject and the crop is great, lots of space for the bird to look into. Beautiful!
Kind regards,
Gabriela Plesea
Stunning pose and head turned towards you. I also love the orange eye and plain smooth BG.
Very nice.
Great IQ and good call on flipping the image. The upside down V shape of the perch provides some nice lines.
I might be tempted to desat the greens a little bit in the BG,
Gail
PS How do you flip an image like that?
Very nice shot.
Wonderful green background, great one legged pose, excellent details, and great comp.
Very well done.
Very nice shot. Good details, and gotta love that "peg leg" pose.![]()
