According to its plumage that is the genre of music it should be singing, but according to my ears it was sounding much happier than that! From a setup perch, and photographed from the comfort of my car parked along a quiet country road. I did notice this mullein was covered with webbing way more than I prefer on one side and somehow forgot to position it with the other cleaner side facing us.

Hi Dan, a well worked out comp here, and well timed to capture him singing to the fullest. Love the blues on this species too ( along with your bluebirds ). The finer feather detail shows up nicely, overall sharp, and Im fine with the 'web design' on the perch.
...I must agree with Shane above that the webbing is a nice touch...Lovely pose from your subject, great crop, beautiful colours, a very attractive image!
This has the "classic" feel to it. Like the essential indigo bunting singing image in my mind. Technically rocks of course...but would love a little background variation too.
Hard to critique this one! Great singing pose and HA.
Love the comp and the long tall mullein.
This is a personal preference issue but I find the green a bit overwhelming and would be tempted to decrease the brightness in the BG,

I love these birds. You have done very well by it. Excellent color, detail, eye contact, and singing pose. Very, very pretty shot of a very pretty bird.
