    Default Royal Tern

    Canaveral National Seashore- Feb '13

Nikon D800, Sigma 500mm. ISO 200, 1/1600 sec @ 5.6. Some slight exposure and highlight tweaks, and of course some sharpening. No other PP done. C&C welcomed!

I have no complaints about the Tern. The exposure looks fine and you have a nice head
angle even with his body facing away from you.

What's bothering me is the sand and how it goes slightly uphill. You could crop some of
the bottom off and then try to rotate to level the sand.

Hi Joseph- Like it a lot! Great low angle and great lookback head angle. Lovely colour and nice and sharp. I like the room you have given the bird. The only thing I might do is clean up the sand a little- remove the specular highlights and blotches. You could shave a bit off the bottom too.
