    Joel:

Very sweet, I love their upright hairdo. Open bill, feather detail, exposure and sharpness all good.

A bit of noise creeping into the BG and a processing defect just in front of the bird at the lower frame edge, almost like some errant feathers were removed.

    Cheers

Excellent portrait, Joel. I like the fine feather details and the HA and eye contact look very good.

I like the pose, hairdo, sharpness and composition. I agree with Randy about the noise and the cloned faint feathers. Excellent image Joel!

I love the youthful look to this young individual!! Nice tight but well proportioned crop. Noise mentioned and ghosted feathers too.

Thanks Randy....I agree about the BG noise. I didn't clone anything on this one. The object on the edge is the top of one claw. Probably should have cropped a tad more off the bottom as to exclude it.

    Joel:

The funky feather ghosts are right above the claw. I would remove the claw and the feather ghosts .

    Cheers

Lovely portrait ... excellent pose, comp, and detail.

Agree with cropping a tad from the bottom to eliminate the claw but feather "ghosts" didn't bother me at all.
