    Not very often do we get these birds on a natural perch.
    Made with a 450D + Sigma 150-500. Beanbag on car window.
    Exif : F 6.3 / ISO 200 / SS 1/250 @ 500 mm. Av mode / Eval.
    Levels / Crop / USM / NR on BG.

    Comments & critiques most welcome.

    Lots of details on the the swallow and great background.

    Looks a bit tight around the tail area and maybe allowing a bit more room could improve it. Its unfortunate the tail ends are not more visible against the lighter background

    I like the pose, colours, sharpness and BG. I agree with Shane on the tightness and tail visibility. Well done Girish.

    Hi Girish, lovely soft light, which in turn has brought out the blue iridescence so well. I do like the pose over the curved perch, and the BG has turned out very well. Another vote for more space LLC.

    I love the detail here, especially in the darker feathers! The soft light worked very well.

    Good on you to get them on a natural perch! Beautifl profile, and the subtle head turn our way is ideal. Nice details, love the curvature of the perch. I agree about the end of the tail which would have been nice not so tight at the edge and not merged with the branch.

    The tail has been mentioned, otherwise an excellent image of this little bird, super sharp, loaded with detail and perfect colors.
