This Grey-headed Gull seemed quite excited as he was coming in. I decided to leave the other gull in the image, and he was at the bottom of the frame as is. There is an ugly raised stormwater manhole where these guys perch, so I wasnt going to include it even if I did have it in the frame. Taken last weekend at a wetlands in Johannesburg.

Stuart Sir,
Excellent image of incoming gull with very nice wing position and fanned tail feathers.
Love the IQ,very nice lights and shadows, colors, great HA of both the gulls, nice BG and composition.
Sharp, well exposed, excellent pose, and add me to the list that appreciates the inclusion of the bottom gull. It adds some context to your story telling, which I appreciate.
Hi Stuart, I too really like this one. The whites are perfect and tons of detail in the feathers.
The background really makes this one jump out of the screen. I like the second bird also , add another dimension to the shot. Nice work.
