    Default Merganser Mini-Me's

Taken a few days ago in a pond on San Juan Island in the Puget Sound.
The youngest group of Merganser chicks I have ever seen and I have to say, are about
the cutest duck chicks I have ever seen, they all looked like Mom!
Very late in the year, just stumbled upon them in a real stroke of luck.

Excellent image of cute ones with beautiful panorama crop composition.
Love the group of chicks and pose of the one on RHS with beautiful hair do.

Too cute...and I love your title. I like all the preening action going on. I know they were likely quite active and it would be much to ask for, but too bad the leftmost chick did not turn its head more towards you.

I like the low angle, sharpness, details and composition. Beautiful family image Dan!

    Dan:

Cute indeed. Good shooting angle, well exposed, good DOF. Tough as can be to get all the head angles right. I have been trying for years to get the perfect loon feeding image with the proper head/fish angles, but am still working on it, so appreciate the almost impossible task of getting 7 good head angles!

    Cheers

    Wonderful shot.
Great shooting angle, nice comp, and I really like that they are all preening.
    Very well done.

Great pose on mom's body and head. Nice feather detail 2. You're right they do look just like mom, little mini mes.
Cute but clean. Well done Dan.
