    Default Reddish Egret Fishing

Our first day at Bolivar Flats, Texas was interrupted by a client phone call. As I sat in the truck pretending to be in my office a reddish egret landed and started dancing. It was all I could do not to throw the phone down and start snapping. We returned the following morning and, fortunately, so did the egret.

Comments and critiques welcome and appreciated.

Classical canopy pose, and nice water. Shame the shoreline is intersecting with the bird. You could add a little more sharpening to the head. Looking forward to more :)

I like the pose that you captured Gayle! From a technical standpoint, I think a little more shutter speed would have helped stop the action in the head. A higher ISO might have helped in this situation. Thanks for sharing.
