Hi Everyone.
I live in Fordingbridge by the New Forest. Kids have left home and our menagerie of animals is reducing so I hope we will do some travelling and I can take pictures of foreign places (i.e. not the UK) and other wildlife.
My first photographic foray was on a school outing with a camera that someone gave me for Christmas filled with sweets. It fell to pieces when I got home but Mum kept the photos I took. That was a long time ago.
I took photos occasionally for years using a film camera but became keen when I got my first digital camera about 9 years ago. Took anything and everything.
I still take pictures of anything but I am concentrating on wildlife and birds at the moment hence joined this forum. I can see some awesome pictures and I am looking forward to attempting to emulate some of them.

Being in the New Forest you will have truck loads to photograph and there is always 'up north' too. Don't get carried away with exotic locations, it's the subjects that make the image. Look forward to seeing your images and participation in the BPN Forums.
