Duba Plains in the Okavango Delta, Botswana, has no rivals when it comes to buffalo and lion interaction, scenes such as this one, where the dominant male runs through the shallow waters in a fantstic display of strength, power and agility to assert his dominance and steel a buffalo calf kill from one of the pride females, is a fine example of what Duba has to offer.Duba Plains, Okavango Delta, Botswana

After posting this i feel it may be a little over saturated and the yellows a little high too. But not sure if its just my eyes now, look forward to your comments.

Brendon, this is the kind of image that everyone on a safari wants to see, but few are fortunate enough to see. Love the powerful run and the water splash. The lion is fantastically sharp while the buffalo are clearly see forming a defensive posture. I agreed that the saturation and yellow are a little bit high on the lion. Let's hear from the others. Great image. Loi

An absolute cracker, mate. Love it!
I would tone down the yellows if mine

dynamic frame! just love the lion creating the water splash. the buffalos are just about OOF so as not
to distract from the main subject. the 2 retreating birds adds a lot to convey a sense of happening.

Hi Brendon, the saturation is the first to hit me too, easily rectified. Like the fleeing egrets and splashing water. Might suggest trying a 0.72 - 1.0 CCW rotation.

Wonderful image Brendon. Love it. You ot it already with the saturation, but overall looks great. Try out Steve clock rotation, I agree on that.
    Great shot

Hi Brendon - not on my calibrated monitor at the moment so will leave the sat and color to the others. Fantastic scene and framing though. Congrats!
