The eagle was patiently waiting for its turn at a wildebeest carcass in the early morning hours.

    Appreciate your comments and suggestions.

    Thank you.

    Hi Loi

Lovely pose & a wonderful perch. BG & DOF are excellent as is the light. I am not sure what sharpening / USM settings you have used, as the feathers look a bit crunchy IMO.
Lets see what others have to opine.

    Hi Loi

You seem to be having a great time out there!

Great pose and wonderful variety of brown and beige tones. Love the inquisitive look on the eagle

The dark part of the wings lack a bit of detail on my monitor and you may be able to lighten them slightly to expose the flight feathers. That is my only critique on this shot

Majestic looking bird in a great setting. I'm going to agree with Girish about the plumage looking a little oversharpened. Like Shane, I'd also like to see a bit more detail in the blacks.

Stunning raptors and pose in an super environment. Loving seeing those talons and on such a great perch. Agree the chest feathers are looking a tad funky.

    Hi Everyone

Thank you for your comments. I increased the exposure by 1/3 EV and lifted the dark feathers a little bit with curves. I used Smart Sharpen and reduced the sharpening amount here by quite a bit. I think it is an improved version here. Appreciate your comments on the RP.

    Thank you

Beautiful brown tones, Loi! I like the repost over the OP. I might clean up the few little straws and white spots on the dirt mound but that's about it.

Great species (for me in Iran) with lovely pose & BG. The repost looks much better as mentioned above.
