One from the Alligator Farm yesterday morning. It was great getting to meet all the awesome BPN'ers that were in attendance this weekend. I think everyone had a great time. I know i did!! Thanks to Robert O.T. for use of the lens to take this one.:)

Hi Harold,
Glad to see you had a great time at the GTG! B4 I looked at the specs..........was going to comment on the sharpness of the 50-500...........alas I see the borrowed lens....Love the lighting and details.......even the head angle is appealing as it really does convey the sense of ascending. Don't tell me I lost another landscape guy to the AvianSide !
Very well done.
thanks roman. i'm just a wannabe in all the forums:D i have developed a love/hate relationship with bigma. i love to hate it:cool: as far as landscape, "I'll be bock":D
Really nice shot, Harold. I like the clean sky background and the way the wings are lit up well on the undersides.
It was a real surprise to see you walking across the parking lot toward me Saturday morning at the Alligator Farm as I was starting to set up my gear. When I met you and your wife last month at Wakodahatchee, I didn't realize you hung out at BPN. It's always nice to see new friends and old friends, and make a few more friends along the way. It was also nice to finally meet some of the people I have talked to in these forums. Man, what a crowd we had this past weekend!
Great pose and full frame, I'd go back on the blue saturation a bit and there's a slight sharpening halo around the feet.
Remember on solid color bgs, select the sky, inverse the selection, modify>contract the selection by one pixel, then do your sharpening. You can freeze the bird without halos :)
