    Setup. D800, 300mm, 2X tc, tripod. 1/400, f7.1, iso800. Cropped and USM. This is a female cowbird, have not seen many this year.

    Love this image Jack. The contrast between the foreground and the BG and the positioning of the bird make this one stand out to me.

    Nice to see the bird in all the green and lovely brown BG. I am seeing a halo around most of your bird.

    Not a bird we often see photographed, and especially not at a setup. Nice to see. I do wish the subject was higher up to clear most or all of the vegetation that is currently merging with it though.
