Anyone using the 18-200 on a D3?

And if so, have you tried it with the auto DX crop turned off?

I'm curious as to what range along the zoom that lens will give a full frame view.

I haven't tried it Jim If you use it on a full frame I don't think is going to cover? The focal range is excellent and have seen some good images made with it. It is not high on the Nikon quality list.

I suspect that it will cover the full frame for at least part of its range.
I know the 17-55 (another DX lens) will give FF images like this one (un-cropped) on the D3:



But if it is not good in terms of image quality, there's no point . . .
