Very creative and nice composition! I might have blended the stars more in line with the DOF of the different flags, but hey, it's OOTB!

Thanks, gals. I did this on the fly this morning while making potato salad for a 4th of July lunch I was going to so didn't think it through very carefully. Jeanneane made a great observation

I don't mind the stars being on their own plane of focus -- sort of like they're exploding in my eyes instead of being a realistic part of the image!
