    I had the opportunity to make some images of a barn owl.

    Mark III / 100-400 + 1.7 TC
    1/300 / f 8 / ISO 250
    - 1/3 Exp Comp.
    using fill flash to light up the right side of the owl. that was a bit in the shade.

    You guys sure know how to get my attention with all the great Barn Owls this week. Excellent detail and great use of the flash. I might be tempted to clone the second catchlight out of each eye and crop this one into a vertical. What a great BG for this bird.
