Taken this weekend at our cottage in Ingonish. The fledgling was catching a few bugs on his own but never seemed to know what to do with the prey. Dad would periodically fly back to check on him.

Sweet shot Gail. Lucky to get them both and at good angles and with great detail. The branches appear just a little bright to me, an easy fix

Lovely composition with the two birds turned to each other. I agree with a tone down on the branches but thats minor and easily sorted.

Nice capture Gail. Love seeing the adult versus the juvenile. Great job with the exposure and colors and I like the crisp details.
I do agree with toning down the branches.
    Well done.

Hi Gail, I like the caring look from the parent, and both nicely framed in the forked perch. Yellows are really striking, they look great, and overall good DOF in the whole image. Your cropped repost works well.

How cute is that!! Comp works well (repost), and the face-to-face poses look great. If anything I'd tone down the brighter leaf directly above the young one's head.

Great opportunity and the RP works well! Nice to see the adult and young together and I like how the branches frame them.
