I apologize for being inactive. I helped my son pack up to move across country, and now I'm ending week 2 of a cold or virus.

A very striking image with the yellow bud against the green background. Nice processing and texture!

I'm loving the green background and those nice, pointy features against it. The yellow of the bud makes a nice contrast and I love the similar motion of the little petals and the large leaves. Those textures are great.

I think a lot of us have many things tugging at our time lately, no worries at all. Summer is always a slow time on the forums because people are out doing lots of things and even shooting images!

I love the colors, sharpness, and where the plane of focus falls. Beautiful experimenting with shallow DOF!

The sharpness of the bud and the lower right leaves work together well against the blur of the rest of the photo. Almost a 3d effect.
Nice work. Glad you are better and glad your son is settled....and most of all that you were available to share that settling time with him.

Very nice Anita. I'm not feeling the textures in the top half of the photo, but like it elsewhere. Glad you're feeling better. :)

The flower bud is tack sharp, love the processing and composition. Well done. Get well soon.

Anita, you really are an expert with textures! This one makes me feel the image is underwater, but in sunlight, and the flower and the leaves are gently bending with unseen currents. I like that gentle movement and blurred effect.
