    Default New generation

A new generation of grebes was born. The small one is only a few hours old.

Hi Frank, a lovely moment in nature, and a loving touch from parent. I like how the little one stands out against the parents darker plumage, not to mention all the detail and colour on the little one's head and bill.

    Hi Frank,
This is a wonderful moment captured.
Love the curve in the neck and the sweet little chick.
I am not sure about the crop. I think there are a lot of interesting options here and would love to see the full frame image to be able to entertain different crop options.
My first instinct is to go tighter by coming in from the bottom and LHS.
I would also be tempted to crop out the little stick between the chick's head and parent.
    Gail

Very cute and tender indeed, a very nice moment witnessed and photographed. I'd see if you can lighten the eye a bit, and I'm with Gail about the comp...but to me it feels tight above.
