    Default Black and Blue

In Seward I took a 9 hour cruise with the Kenai Fjords Tours to Kenai Fjords National Park. As we approached one of the glaciers, I saw blue glacier ice contrasting with black rock and thought it would make a intersting photo. I used Topaz Clean Effect on the image. I tried to bring out the details in the rocks and ice.

Hope you find this interesting. Ciao for now.

I like this one a lot Paul. Great framing and contrasts between d/l, and earth/water.

Vertiginous! Powerful landscape image, but what I really like are the similarities and at the same time contrasts between the rocks and the ice. This image really draws me.

I find it very interesting Paul. The dynamics of the image are super, and the contrasts of color and texture really add interest. Good one! Looks cold!

Paul, I especially like the detail in the rocks and ice flow and the contrasting colors. It does indeed look cold

Paul, I love the abstractness of this!! Wonderful diagonal composition, each side with its own monochrome colors. Topaz Clean was perfect for the sharp lines in both the ice and rocks. There is also a feeding of depth and of the two strong forces against each other. Great!!

Paul, this is a beauty. I really like everything about this from the composition and textures, to the great choice of treatments used. It reminds me very much of a Byron Birdsall piece. Very nicely handled !!
