    Default Tickell's Blue Flycatcher

Got this bird in a small hill station near Bangalore.
They come down to ground to feed on worms & i was lucky to get the spotlight on the bird.
    Made with Canon 450D + Sigma 150-500.
    Exif : F6.3 / ISO 400 / SS 1/1000. Av mode / Eval
Crop / USM / NR on BG. Couldn't avoid the posterization in the BG due to compression.

    Comments & critiques most welcome.

Lovely picture of a cute little bird! What would you think about darkening the OOF area at the bottom of the frame?

Awesome details in this stunning bird. He has gorgeous colors and nice light. I would probably take a little off of the left and up to the first leaf on the right to put more emphasis on the subject and less on the FG.

Very cute, and looks quite similar to our Eastern Bluebird over here. Nice details and I love the light. Excellent BG. I find that the FG is too prominent though, darkening it or cropping as mentioned may work. Perhaps a bit higher angle would have worked at time of capture. I'd also eliminate the smaller of the two catchlights.
