A Southern Carmine Bea Eater flies by us on the outskirts of the breading colony. These birds sometimes fly past you at a matter of a few feet making for great photography at one of the largest breading colonies in Southern Africa.Nambia, Kalizo, Zambezi River.

    Nothing to critique here!
Great BG and love the wings down and slight angulation of the tail that shows the topside.
Nice and sharp and great light. I like the composition and the amount of space you have left around the carmine.

Love the pose, although I would have liked a slight head turn towards you. Great sharpness, and I like the sandy BG. Do you have enough pixels to crop a little tighter?

I like the swooping lines of the pose. Nice BG and colours. I think taking a bit off the bottom would work well.

Excellent flight shot. lovely colors & BG. The open beak make it more powerful.
