    Default I am invisible!

American Bittern, Hyde Park, VT on Sunday between rain showers- - This bird was sure it could not be seen! It would only move when I looked away. 1dm3, 500f4 handheld - iso400, 1/320 at f8 - AV, AF, Spot meter - EC +2/3 - Bob

A pose you quite often see from the american bittern. Really like the BG in this capture Bob. I do find the light grass in the FG a little distracting but excellent detail and a great low angle. Thanks so much for sharing.

    Hi Bob,
Besides the bright FG grass...........it looks like a contrast boost would make this one pop even more. I might be tempted to take some off the left :D....but It will be interesting to see what others think. Very nice BG and pose,
    Roman

nice low angle Bob(surprised you were off the BushHawk)

Took liberty to try a few of above suggestion...small crop left and bottom and a medium
local contrast enhancement via USM and brightened the eye just a tad.
    Whatcha think?

Good to see you got the bittern, I still have never seen one....congrats
