Default Colorful Painting Effect 2 - Tufted Puffin

My first few days in Alaska were spent in Seward. I took a few cruises in the Fjords hoping to spot a few new species. Taking photos from a moving boat proved difficult but not impossible. This Tufted Puffin surfaced very close to the boat and gave me an opportunity for an image,

I used a Painting Colorful Effect 2 from Topaz Labs, I just liked the results on this image.

    Thanks for looking

This image looks like a fanciful drawing that would be an illustration in a children's picture book. It is happy, colorful and bright. I like it.

I totally agree with Anita. I love the red highlights in the water swirling around the puffin, and the motion conveyed by the rich blues and greens. To help in identifying which puffin is which of the 2 species in Alaska, I remember being told that "tough (tuff) guys wear black" referring to the black belly of the Tufted Puffin vs. the white belly of the Horned Puffin.

A fun, happy image and I agree with Anita-makes me think of an illustration in a children's book-enjoyed viewing this, tremendously!

I like the brightly colored puffin and the water looks cool with the red highlights!

I've always like this filter Paul, and think it looks great on the puffin. Had a quick look at your blog, will give it a more in-depth look today!

Hi Paul, I really like the riot of color - it works well with the little puffin. My first thought was that it looks like some of the color was shaken off of the bird and into the water. Cool!

Paul, I love all the colors and it seems to work so well with a puffin
