Excellent landing pose & wing position. Love the cloudy sky in the BG. Wish the bird angled toward the frame.

    Dudley:

An unconventional shooting angle, but it does afford a great view of the wings, talons, tail, and even the 'beard'

A bit tight for my tastes, and from the proportions, you must have some more canvas.

Some noise creeping into the background, but considering the ISO, modest.

    Cheers

Dynamic pose here, and oddly enough for me I like the angled away landing pose in this case. Love the swooping wings. As with Randy, I'm finding the comp rather tight and some NR to the BG would work well.

Hi Dudley, good view of the feather detail, and certainly not the normal incoming pose posted from giants. Glad you left a bit of perch, and agree on both more space and some NR.

Looks like you got sorted out.

Although a bit unconventional, I like the pose. Detail is great. Agree with the others relative to noise and tight crop.

Magnificent landing pose. I like the dorsal and under wing pattern, fanned tail and beard.

Thank you all for your input. I did have some more space on LHS which you can see from the adjusted crop.
