    Froze flower in ice back lit some adjustment added a little fract How can i improve it Many thanks

    Hi, Grahame, I have been meaning to try the ice technique and haven't gotten around to it. I like the effect both from the ice and from the fractalius - it almost looks like it has a texture overlay (which I guess is what the ice does and I'm sure fractalius accentuates it). This is very nitpicky but I would remove what looks like a sliver of a horizontal branch on the lower middle right edge and the small diagonal line in the upper right hand corner. Nice one

    Thank you Cheryl Missed top right thought i had got rid of leaf.Will try some more he ice seemed thicker below flower looking for a branch of red berries which i think might suit

    Certainly is a different look. If I hadn't known I would have thought it was Fractalius and a texture. I like the fainter BG flowers.

    Ok now thats a new one on me, freezing the subject and adding lighting. Lord we are getting so creative in here....I also thought it was done with effects until I read your post....very nice result

    Very nice! Good for you for trying something new. The effect is lovely. The subdued look you produced works. If you wanted to brighten it up, you could up the contrast or saturation.
