Well at last here she is just minutes before her maiden flight.
My apologies you may have noticed some images are labelled as broad bodied chaser and others four spot chaser, the correct title should be broad bodied chaser, they initially look very similar only after the wings open can you be sure they are one or the other.

Beautiful specimen and a fine capture, Jonathan! The upper right wing tip seems a bit soft but I don't care! Great photography!

Thanks Dan as ever there was an occasional breeze and no matter how many images I took I could not get that perfect one, first one wing then the other would move.

Great work, Jonathan (and the dragonfly too!). Your perseverence paid off with a great series of a special event in nature!

Jonathon, sharp with a great background. Love the look in the wings. Great soft light. Gary.

Amazed at how much detail there is here. So clear and natural looking. Loving those soft 'bokeh balls' in the bkg. Wonderful image, well done.

Hi Jon. Yet another excellent image in your series! I like how the image clearly shows just how shiny the wings are on a newly emerged dragonfly!

I love the gentle lighting which has helped bring out the details and colours. A nice sharp image apart from an insignificant part of the top right wing as mentioned by Dan. I also love the reflection of the glassy wings Jonathan.
