    A Very shy & hard to find bird of our dry grassland areas. Not the most prettiest of settings, but posting nevertheless.
    Made with a Canon 450D + Sigma 150-500. Beanbag on car window.
    Exif : F6.3 / ISO 400 / SS 1/500 @ 439mm. Shot vertical / Manual / Eval.
    CW Rotation / Levels / Crop / USM / NR on BG.

    Comments & critiques most welcome.

    Overall, it's a wonderful image. I think the setting is fine as well. The colors, especially in the soil, are complimentary to the courser's plumage and I very much like the soft light.

    Hi Girish, lovely low perspective, and love the inquisitive head turn. Good DOF, sharp, but I would try and tone down the legs a touch. The colours in the BG certainly compliment the bird very well.

    I think the setting is great, particularly in regards to the colors of the setting and the colors of the bird....quite complimentary.
    Sharp details, exposure is spot on, vertical composition works perfectly. I don't recall ever seeing this bird before. Thanks for sharing.

    I think the setting is terrific and compliments the bird very well.
    Beautiful bird and very good comp.
    A slight tweak as Stuart mentioned, but a very nice photo.
