Pastels in motion. My question is - should I crop tighter and leave less canvas?

Bill, I like lots of negative space, but I'd leave more room ot the left, they are too close to the border.

Really? I thought that kinda made it. I'll add more canvas and take a look. Maybe that's what's bothering me. Thanks Fabs. Why is Al dreaming of Storks Fabs? What's going on in Florida? :)

As usual Fabs you were right on. Hope this looks better. Dropped in a little more contrast to boot.

I think that Fabs above meant more room to the right (as that is what you did in the repost...) I love the mood and feel of this one. The big negative for me is that the bill of the upper bird is totally lost in the hgih key... I would borrow the face and bill from the lower bird <smile>

Thank you Arthur. It's always nice to hear from the big guy. I will remedy the issue with the clone brush which I used to help the lower bird bill and repost.

Isolated the bill and used levels and contrast to bring it up. Cloned the white patch on the face of the top bird over and increased contrast on the bottom bird head and bill. I believe the white interferance came from a wing tip flash from the bottom bird. All better now.

Thanks to everyone for the help on this one. It is fast becoming a favorite of mine. :)

A great improvement. All that you need now for web presentation is a thin black frame (Edit/Stroke I think...)

Forgot to frame it for the web in my haste to post the rework. How about a thin dark green border. :)
