A very nice shot. He looks like he has conquered the mountain!!
IQ excellent, color palette very nice and the rocks compliment the bird nicely.
The only thing that would have improved this image is for the sun to be on the other side (or the bird facing the other way might be easier!) lighting up the black throat.
Maybe a sliver more room on the bottom but not a deal breaker.

    Chris:

I like the mountain climbing feel mentioned by Gail. To strengthen that feel , you could crop a bit off the top so the bird/mountain sits higher in the frame, looking up at the mountain top, so to speak.

If possible, a slightly lower shooting angle to give a bit more separation of birds body from rock might have been an interesting option.

I appreciate Gail's comment on the light angle. The head turn saved you to a certain extent.

    Cheers

Very nice, sharp and nice pose, wishing he was more towards the top of the rock though and by doing so more separate from it

Excellent image of wagtail.Very nice colors, beautiful pose, sharpness, perch and composition.
Wagtail looks White Wagtail found in India, however we could not distinguish between male and female.

Hi Chris, before resding any comments, mountain came to me too. It must be the shape. I do like the pose, good feather detail, and I like how the tail follows the shape of the perch.

This quarry is paying off well, I like the bird but would have preferred if it was possible to isolate it more effectively against the sky, the receding rock detracts a little, neverthe less good exposure and detail with a fine pose.

Love the triangular composition. Beautiful bird on a cool perch. Light quality is very nice. Did you do some pp work to the left of the bird? There are some odd smudges in the blue sky portion...

I too like the rock perch and the triangle composition. Very nice head angle and detail.
