I have more room on top but none on the left, could have added the canvas but opted to keep it as is in the shot. Just applied cropping, NR and sharpening.

Great view of the back of the bird, dynamic pose, very cool tree and hole. I think the image could use a bit more contrast and a look your way would have helped. I'd love to see some more of this fellow.

I love the wingspread and fanned tail.
If you had a better HA this would be contest material!
I would take a bit off the right as I find all that brighter wood a bit overwhelming and add the same amount to the left to maintain the ratio of crop.

Nice timing! Love the wing spread! I'm okay with the HA looking away from the camera, but I wish it's more in the direction of the cavity.

Hi Troy, well timed for the home coming, and a great view of the wings. Exposure looks good, and glad that he against the BG. Maybe some NR on the BG.

Love what you were going for here, Troy. Your BG needs more NR. I would do more sharpening on the bird's head. Do wish the head were angled just a tad more toward the viewer maybe looking into the cavity, but you can see the eye which is good. Love that back view.

Thank you for pointing out the NR guys. Yeah, HA could have been better for sure. Soon I will have some feeding shots. I'm looking forward to some images like that.
