Great shot! I like the water splash from the feet. I think you should clone out the dark and white spot in the water. Which specie of Stilt is this? Here were I live we only get Black Necked Stilts

Thanks for comment Raybel. Our stilt looks a little different, their names are black winged stilts.

Nicely timed with the feet just leaving the water surface, nice color tones throughout as well, the shallowing dof works nicely and all fits in the frame perfectly.......consider removing that one speck in the water to the right of the bird

    Vivaldo:

Good comments above. I find the oranges and browns work very well together here, with good time, sharpness and exposure. I do agree about the black dot, just because it is such high contrast and does jump out.

    Cheers

Lovely photo. Nice timing, background color, head angle and water action at the feet. Agree with the others about the small dot, although it's not a huge issue if you'd prefer not to.

Have to agree with all the above comments! really like the splash.
Also find that the leg color is a bit over saturated. Perhaps this is due to breeding color changes? The ones I have seen are more of a pink color.

Minor issues mentioned, but great timing and very nice IQ.
The reason the black spot stands out is the rest of the image is so good.
A truly insignificant easy fix to a very nice image.

Hi Viv, yep, perfect timing for the take off, and love the pose. Sharp where it counts, and the stilt really pops from the water BG. Another vote for removing the dot.

Awesome image there Vivaldo! Great take-off pose, colours, comp...superb water action at the feet! Yes, that spot needs to go, and I try to reduce the two pale streaks in the water beneath the subject.
