excellent landing pose and details. colors are very good, sharp with great composition/cropping.
I would try to bring out more detail in the blacks.

Nice one Conrad. I like the wing spread and the out stretched feet. Nice DOF captured for f5.6. Great colors on this bird and the BG is very nice. Well done!
What a dynamic landing pose...and I love the feet about to grab on to the perch! Colours and BG are superb. I do feel that more room all around the subject would be nice, if you have it...but I understand it makes for a higher visual impact this way when presenting for web.
Excellent landing pose. I like the lights, beautiful colors, nice details in wing and tail feathers.
Very nice background and composition. Love the frame.

Awesome!
Very unusual POV Conrad. I like it a lot. I do love the Green Jays, but their black is really hard to get detail from. I've found if there is any shadow at all, it's pretty hopeless (for me anyway). You might try to bring up the shadow a bit in the eye area and that might help give a bit of distinction between the feathers and eye. I think it's pretty special as is too.
Although the bird is tight in the frame, I think it works for the web. I do agree with bringing out more detail in the blacks.

Got it! I"ll widen the frame a bit more as you've recommended. You guys rock!!!!
Nice image although I think the perch is too dominate.
